Judy Walls, 81, of Dawsonville passed away August 20, 2025 surrounded by her

loving family at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining

health.

Born August 13, 1944, Judy was a lifelong resident of Dawson County and a 1962

graduate of Dawson County High School. She spent her career in banking and

retired as the Vice President of Operations from United Community Bank in

downtown Dawsonville following 43 years of service. A loving and devoted wife,

mother and grandmother, she spent her retirement years enjoying her family and

especially her grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Rainey

and Nora Neal and siblings, Kathy Mote, Joyce Neal and Danny Neal.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Carroll Walls of Dawsonville; children,

Melissa Bailey (Mike) of Dawsonville, Joseph Walls (Leslie) of Bogart;

grandchildren, Jordan Jennings (Austin), Jake Moore, James Walls, Blair Walls;

great-grandchildren, Emmett Jennings, Riley Jennings; brother, Rainey Neal, Jr. of

Flowery Branch; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Bearden

Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Dennis Bottoms and Rev. Tony

Neal will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 22, 2025

from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Judy's memory to Children's

Healthcare of Atlanta at www.choa.org/give.
