Jacqueline Ary, age 82, of Carroll, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 11, 1942, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late John Patrick Clancy and Margaret W Clancy Gilmore.

Jacqueline had a deep love for animals, especially cats. She cared for strays by feeding, nurturing, and releasing them. She also enjoyed her garden, where she found peace, and never lost her fondness for a good cigarette. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness touched many lives.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, James Ary; sons, Brian (Terri) Ary, Keith (Rhonda) Ary, and Micah (Tricia) Ary; grandchildren, Tyler Ary, Brittney Russell-Ary, Ashley (John) Mancini , Zack Ary, Kody Ary, Claudia Ary, Logan (Brandon) Miller, Hunter (Bethany) Ary, Allie Ary, and Ethan Ary; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Maddox, Ember, Milo, Isabella, and Violet; siblings, Patty (Gill) Rhodes, Barbara Jayne Clancy, and Mike (Lita) Clancy; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Family and friends may visit Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with one hour of visitation prior. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
