Jacqueline Sue "Jackie" Crabtree, 79, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at her residence.
She was born July 4, 1945, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Paul and Evelyn (Smith) Pruitt.
Jackie attended Central Catholic High School.
Her marriage was to Kenneth E. Crabtree and he survives.
Jackie worked in housekeeping for St Elizabeth Nursing Home in Delphi for sixteen years before retiring.
She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God and enjoyed going to McDonalds every day for breakfast with Kenneth and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, watching Hallmark movies and doing crosstitch.
Surviving with her husband Kenneth E. Crabtree of Lafayette, is a daughter, Karen S. Vale of Lafayette, three sons, Timothy Crabtree of Colburn, Alan (Jennifer) Crabtree of Goshen, and Michael Crabtree of Mooresville, a sister, Bobbetta (Bill) Balser of Lafayette, and a brother, Thomas (Carolyn) Pruitt of Lafayette. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Jackie was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald (Mickey) Pruitt and James (Karen) Pruitt, a daughter in law, Andra Crabtree, a son in law, William R. Vale, and a granddaughter, Jacquilynne "Lynne" Lowery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday at the Pentecostal Church of God, 3616 S. 9th St. Lafayette, IN 47909.
Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14, 2025 also at Pentacostal Church of God, with Pastor Chris Black officiating. Interment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Lafayette Pentecostal church of God.
