Jacqueline Jean "Jackie" Dowler

RICHMOND, Ind. – Jacqueline "Jackie" Jean Dowler, age 86, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Reid Health.
Born September 10, 1937, in Lynn, Indiana, to Kenneth Loyd and Martha Marie Kees Jennings, Jackie was a life-long resident of this area. She enjoyed reading and in their younger years, she and Jack belonged to many square and round dance clubs, Boots and Slippers, Nettle Creek Steppers, and Hoosier Corners. Jackie loved to care for her family, and they were her greatest treasure.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Jack Dowler, to whom she was married on August 17, 1957; children, Debbie Rudd, Nancy Dowler (Mark Kessler), and David (Lori) Dowler; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sarah) Schultz, Melissa (Joe) Deuster, Kyle Schultz, and Natasha (Alex) Hendricks; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Jennings; sister-in-law, Andrea Jennings; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Jennings.
Visitation for Jacqueline "Jackie" Jean Dowler will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Private graveside service will be held at a later date.
