Jacqueline Rose Flaherty

Jacqueline Rose Flaherty, age 90, a resident of Norton, passed away peacefully on September 16,

2025, at Morton Hospital.

Born on June 28, 1935, Jacqueline-fondly known as Jackie-graduated from Roslindale High School.

She later married Francis Flaherty and together they made their home in Foxborough, where they spent

the next 60 years raising their family.

After working as a bookkeeper for many years, Jackie continued her career at Stop & Shop, where she

worked until her retirement. She loved to travel, enjoyed outdoor gardening, and treasured time spent

with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie will be remembered for her warm smile, her

endless generosity, and her happiness when surrounded by family.

She is survived by her children: Francis Flaherty and his wife Maureen of Plymouth, MA; Karen

Gleason and her husband Rich of San Diego, CA; Donna Moreshead and her husband William of

Norton, MA; and Colleen DiPietro and her husband Jack of Lexington, SC. Jackie was the proud

grandmother of Patrick, Shannon, Katie, Samantha, Courtney, Joe, and Jack, and the cherished

great-grandmother of Avery, Aiden, Connor, Delilah, Griffin, Kieran, Peyton, Rory, and Tyler.

A celebration of Jacqueline's life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at

Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxborough, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated

on Wednesday, September 24, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter Street, Foxborough,

MA.
