Jacqueline M. Giannopoulos, 91, wife of Dr. Peter H. Giannopoulos of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on May 15, 1933 and graduated from Haverford High School in 1951. Following graduation with her sorority she went to Ocean City, NJ where she met the forever love of her life and married on July 15, 1956. They eventually had five children.
Jackie was an avid golfer with a hole-in-one and in her early years was a competitive bowler having scored a 600 series.
She was a member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Kimberton and was a true Christian and Catholic.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Jackie was a fierce advocate for her children and grandchildren. She was loved dearly for her warmth and generosity. She was always willing to participate in all of her family's activities
In addition to her husband of 68 years she is survived by five children: Harry husband of Deborah Giannopoulos, Peter R husband of Mary A. Giannopoulos, John husband of Anne Giannopoulos, Wendy Giannopoulos & Kurt Linneman, and Glenn husband of Kathleen Giannopoulos; eight grandchildren: Alexandra, Nicholas, Peter, Zachary, Jennifer, Megan, Rachel, and Robert; four great grandchildren: Aspyn, Lucas, Mia, and Jacob; and brother, Richard Drescher.
A private Funeral Mass for Jackie was held for the family in St. Basil the Great Catholic Church..
