Jacqueline "Jackie" Kingsbury

KINGSBURY, Jacqueline Lorraine of Gilmanton, New Hampshire passed away on January 23rd, 2023. Born in Natick, Ma on October 23rd, 1952 to the late Allan A and Yvonne R Kingsbury (Randall). She was predeceased by her life partner of 47 years, Annette M. Turla in November of 2022.
She is survived by her brother Allan Kingsbury and his wife Bonnie of Gilmanton, New Hampshire; her nephew Allan AG Kingsbury and his wife Wendy; Her niece Naomi Searles and her husband Nathan; Her grandnieces Erilyn and Athena Searles, as well as Freya Kingsbury. She also leaves behind many friends, including Kim, Patty, Sean, and Johnny of New Hampshire, Ted D. of Massachusetts, Linda of Florida, and Laura Mai of Tennessee. Finally, she leaves behind her beloved feline companion of nearly 10 years, Gabriel.
Jackie grew up in Medfield, Ma and spent her summers in Gilmanton, on the lake with her brother Allan and cousins Becky and Rickie. Later in life She enjoyed time with her niece Naomi and nephew Allan AG, later finding that same joy in her grandnieces. She was an avid lover of Christmas, spoiling the children in her life and beaming with joy as she would watch them unwrap their gifts. Her passion for life's adventures spurred her to live many places in her life; Savin Hill, Dorchester Ma. Ann Arbor, Mich., Manhattan, NY., Millis, Ma., Union City, Tenn., before, once again returning to her family in Gilmanton, NH.
While living in Medfield and Gilmanton she would crochet and knit crafts to donate to various charitable organizations along with selling items at craft fairs with her mother, Yvonne and sister-in-law, Bonnie.
She held a Master's Degree of Education and a Master's Degree of Arts, both from the Columbia University of New York. She worked a range of jobs, including: Charles manufacturing in Medfield, Ma., IRS in Ann Arbor, Mich., Mass Eye and Ear in Boston, Ma., and Genesis Behavioral Health Care in Laconia. She found great joy in her social work at Genesis interacting with children from the lake's Region. She also taught adult enrichment classes in Astrology. She was a member of the Eastern Star., Quinobequin Chapter 67, Medway, Ma.
A graveside service will be on May 8th at 11am Vine Lake Cemetery.
