Jacqueline Morehead Obituary
Jacque, known for her warm smile and generous spirit, dedicated her professional life to the art of hairdressing. Her career spanned over fifty years, always bringing creativity and skill to her craft. She had a passion for learning and always stayed up to date with the latest techniques and styles. In addition to her career, she believed in holistic healing leading her to become a certified reflexologist.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jacque had a deep passion for the great outdoors and was environmentally conscious. She found joy in gardening, camping, and spending time at the beach. Her love for nature was infectious, and she often shared these experiences with her family and friends. Jacque would often take spontaneous trips with her husband, spending time in their favorite places.
Jacque is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Keeney. Left to cherish her fond memories are her beloved husband, Gorman W. Morehead Jr.; her children, Janine, Frances, and Gorman III "Tripp"; six grandchildren: Ben, Kristin, Dodd, Madelyn, Jack, and Alec; five great grandchildren; sister, Betty; and many other beloved extended family members and friends. Her family was her greatest pride, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
In celebrating Jacque's life, we remember her not only for her talents and passions but also for the warmth and love she brought into the lives of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
To honor Jacque's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or perennial plant. If you wish to make a donation in her name, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association by clicking HERE.
