On February 23, 1968, Jackie married her beloved husband, Jimmy Ray Shomaker, Sr. in Centralia. Together, they shared a love for the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing trips in Missouri. After growing up in Wamac, Jackie devoted herself to being a homemaker, nurturing her family with love and care. As a dedicated wife and mother, Jackie's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her love and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by three children- Misty (Dean) Skibinski of Centralia, Jamie (Avery) Moore of Salem, and Jimmy (Misti) Shomaker Jr. of Alma; eleven grandchildren- Amber Gordon of Alma, Jeffery Skibinski of Centralia, Amy Skibinski of Sandoval, Devin Moore of Salem, Jacob Moore (Jessica) of Centralia, Brittany Moore of Salem, Cheyanne (Jacob) Zimmerman of Alma, Kaylee (Cotter) Hiestand of Kinmundy, Bria Murray of Alma, Lukas Shomaker of Alma and Brooklynn Shomaker of Alma; twelve great grandchildren- Hailey Skibinski, Hunter Olmstead, Landon Bushue, Ryder Skibinski, Jerzee Bushue, Journey Bushue, Jourdyn Gordon, Jaycelyn Coleman, Gracilynn Coleman, Keegan Wilson, Kaiden Wilson, and Riley Dean Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband- Jimmy Ray Shomaker, Sr. She leaves behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories that will be treasured by her family and friends. The family invites friends and loved ones to share their memories and celebrate Jackie's life. Her passing will be felt deeply but her love and spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
