Jacqueline Stewart

Jacqueline R. Stewart, born under the tropical skies of Maripipi, Pampanga, Philippines on September 2, 1964, lived as a beacon of selfless love and boundless courage throughout her time on Earth. On May 16, 2025, in Round Rock, Texas, Jacqueline concluded her 60-year journey with grace, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family, of which she was the cherished matriarch.
Throughout her life, and especially in her final days, her relentless optimism and devout faith left an indelible mark on the hearts and souls of all who knew her. A true embodiment of resilience and faith, Jacqueline readily proclaimed, "Give it to God and he will take care of you."
After graduating from Leyte National High School in Tacloban City, Philippines, and studying Computer Science, Jacqueline's journey eventually brought her to the growing community of Round Rock, Texas. There, alongside her late husband, Mark Stewart Sr, she poured her heart and soul into raising her four sons-Dionisio Minoria (Hilary), Mark Jr, Charles, and Devin Stewart-and doting upon her grandchildren Dazighlus (Rue), Alaysia, Llayana, & Zaniyah Minoria. In her final months, she was blessed with the opportunity to meet her great-grandson Azirye.
Her family-a tapestry of love that spans multiple generations-formed the core of Jacqueline's existence. Though preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn, father, Dionisio, and mother, Eufrocina, she is survived by her proud sons, her adorable grandchildren, her steadfast brothers, Louie and Junior, her nurturing sisters, Marilyn, Lynn, Maricar, her sister-in-law Martha Stewart, and parents by way of marriage, Dennis and Carole Stewart. They, alongside a myriad of adoring cousins, nieces, and nephews, will carry on her legacy of passionate living and boundless giving.
In pursuit of a better life for her children, Jacqueline's professional life was characterized by her intense dedication and adaptability. After working in the electronics industry for over a decade, she and her husband transitioned to a promising career as licensed insurance agents. Wherever she went, Jacqueline exuded a deep sense of purpose and professionalism driven by her love for family that inspired her colleagues and clients alike.
In addition to professional success, Jacqueline also focused on her passions with zeal. An avid cook, she delighted in creating and sharing new, delectable recipes with her family and friends while also striving to perfect her traditional Filipino dishes. She also toiled often in her personal garden, where she lovingly cultivated an array of flowers, fruits, and vegetables.
Jacqueline was a pillar of faith, and a shining example of hope and strength in her community. She heeded the call of service, most often with St. Williams Catholic Church in Round Rock, dedicating her time to parish events and activities with unrivaled generosity and spirit. She lived her faith through selfless action, proving that even the smallest deeds can create ripples of change.
Above all, Jacqueline's existence bore testament to the power of love, belief in God, and unyielding tenacity. She navigated life and death with a courage that defied challenges and celebrated victories, all the while holding the torch of her faith aloft. To honor her is to emulate her zest for life, her capacity for kindness, and her unwavering belief in the goodness that dwells within each of us. May we all strive to mirror the light she emanated in this world, and as she'd often say, "Take it day by day."
