Jacqueline Weaver

1935 - 2025

Jacqueline Weaver went to her heavenly home on August 20, 2025 at the age of 89 years.
She was born December 4, 1935 at Graham, Texas to James and Odessa Emanuel and
baptized in the Methodist Church in 1936 by her uncle Joe Emanuel, a Methodist pastor.
Her family moved to Azle in 1949 where she met Fred Weaver. They both attended the
Methodist Church and Azle High School. They graduated together in 1953, along with
twelve others. She was the valedictorian of the class and attended Texas Wesleyan
University for one year.

Jacqueline and Fred married on September 3, 1954, and raised three sons. She was
committed to being her husband's best friend, so she took up fishing and horseback riding
and other things he enjoyed. In 1987 she helped Fred found Community Bible Fellowship,
where she played the piano and organ, led ladies' meetings, and wrote and directed plays
and musicals for holidays such as Christmas and Easter. After Fred suffered a stroke,
Jacqueline was for many years his caregiver and constant companion.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Weaver Jr., her son Fred Weaver III, her
sister Betty Haas, and her parents James and Odessa Emanuel.

She is survived by her son James Clinton Weaver and wife Ladonnya, son Bryan Weaver
and wife Crystal, grandchildren Clint Weaver and wife Natalie, Cliff Weaver and wife
Cassandra, Charity Weaver, Gracie Lloyd and husband Max, Gaven Sanders, and Caitlin
Sanders, and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at Community Bible Fellowship on Monday, August 25th at
10 a.m. with graveside service following at Azleland Cemetery.
