Jacqueline S. Wojcik (Dombrowski) of Holland, PA passed away at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in 1949 in Bridesburg Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis and Florence Dombrowski (Ostyapczuk).
Jacquie worked as a nurse in labor and delivery for 27 years and then transitioned to the pharmaceutical world where she worked in drug safety. Outside of work, Jacquie was always the life of the party hosting countless pool parties and family gatherings at their family home. She was a world-class shopper, finding every bargain in the tristate area. She was an amazing cook, and her love language was feeding friends and family. Her love for her grandchildren was immense. They were truly the light of her life, and she would talk about them to anyone who would listen.
The best word to describe Jacquie is caregiver. She showed her care to her patients while she was a nurse and to countless family members and friends during her lifetime. She took care of her daughters growing up, her grandchildren when they were born, her parents when they were older, and her husband while he was fighting cancer. You did not have to ask Jacquie for help – she just did what needed to be done. Jacquie never sat down- she was always working on something for someone.
Jacquie and Fred found a new joy during their retirement in their second home in Bonita Springs Florida. They loved sharing this home with their family and made a whole new set of friends who became like family.
Jacquie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frederick E. Wojcik; three daughters, Karen McDonald and her husband Tom of Jamison, PA., Kathryn Eckenrode and her husband Keith of Furlong, PA. and Amy Wojcik and her wife Mary Ann of Meadowbrook, PA.; brother, Frank Dombrowski; sisters, Geraldine Bucolo and her husband Salvatore and Susan Seybert and her husband Brian; seven grandchildren, Grace McDonald, Sean McDonald, Ryan McDonald, Jack Wojcik, Kyle Eckenrode, Lucy Wojcik, Kevin Eckenrode and Jacquie's furry companion, Ziva.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, May 31st from 10am-11am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road,
Richboro, PA. A celebration of life will follow and interment will be private to the family.
