Sassy,
You've left a forever void in my heart, in my soul, you left too soon, so many plans never to be realized, why God had to take you now I will never understand, we were supposed to have another 20 years, at least. That final phone call never happened and then I found out why.....just could not fathom, you would never again walk alongside me, you were gone in a second, surreal. Our 2 hour phone calls full of laughter will never happen again. Just will never get over you leaving. Love you forever, your friend Sassy

I am so sorry to hear about Paige. My mom was her next door neighbor and I enjoyed talking to her every time I got a chance. My daughter loved playing with Natalie. I hope Fred and Natalie are doing well.

Woman's Club of Norfolk
Paige was president and vice president of WCN. When the Woman's Club of Norfolk lost its president in 2014, the home required repair and membership was low. Paige was involved in resurrecting the club to its current glory, but she didn't stop there. She spearheaded a Yazidi fundraiser at the Naro, which raised money and supplied a refugee family who attended the event with a new laptop. As the Ukrainian war continued, Paige spearheaded a Ukrainian fundraiser at the Woman's Club of Norfolk, which included members of the Ukrainian community, Mayor Kenny Alexander, and the press. It was a big success and led to money, furniture, and clothing donations. Her family also sponsored a Ukrainian couple in their home. Paige was one of the founders and Chair of the Woman´s Club Scholarship Committee. She developed the rubric for applicants, and during her tenure, our scholarship doubled in value and recipients. To allow Paige´s goodness to live in perpetuity, one of the two scholarships WCN currently provides will be The Paige Rose Scholarship. We miss you terribly, Paige. May you rest in eternal peace. Paige was my sister-in-law. My wife Barbara Rose and I (Ralf Rose) knew Paige for over 20 years, through my brother Fred Rose. We live in Berlin (Germany). We visit Paige and Fred almost every year, including this year in May/June 2024. There we spent the vacation together in Kitty Hawk, NC and celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. We were also present at your wedding in 2006.
Paige was a wonderful, kind-hearted person. We will never forget her. We miss her a lot.
Of course we will continue to visit Fred and my niece Natalie.
