Jaden Roy White Plume was born on April 15, 2002 in Pine Ridge, SD to Michael J. White Plume, Sr. and Lorenda Short Bull. Jaden made his journey to the Spirit World on July 12, 2025 in Keystone, SD.

Jaden is survived by his son, Mattias James White Plume and unborn son who is arriving in August; significant other, Irene White Magpie; siblings, Michael J. White Plume, Jr., Terren White Plume, Antoinette Rosie White Plume, Michaela Jade White Plume, Calla Spotted Horse, Kasidy Janis, and Kelly Janis; mother, Lorenda Short Bull; maternal grandmothers, Mildred Alkire, Rita White Plume, Ramona White Plume, Carla Crazy Thunder, and Carlene Crazy Thunder; paternal grandmothers, Vivian White Butterfly and Hattie White Butterfly; grandfathers, Alex White Plume, Percy White Plume and Gerald Weasel; aunts, Penny, Priscilla, Toni, Juanita, Regina, Roberta, Sheena, Roxy, Alex, Anpo, Canupa, Sina KaSna Mani Win, Aubrie James, Dr. Jessica White Plume, Donna Tail, and Rosebud White Plume; uncles, Ivan White Butterly, Tatanka He Luta, T.K. Jones, Gabriel, Theodore, Nupa, Zuya, Freedom, Chance, Luke, Adam, Percy III, 108 cousins; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jaden was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. White Plume, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Alta White Plume, Ivan White Butterfly, Sr., and Wyoma White Plume; maternal grandparents, Lavern Short Bull and Ernestine Red Paint; uncles, Chauncey Brown, Marlin White Plume, Tawapaha Luta, and Jared Roy James; aunt, Theresa Brown and Michelle White Plume; and cousin, Keisha Yellow Hair.
