Jake Louis Luzader, age 28, passed away on June 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Cleveland, OH to Rik Luzader & Anne Kennedy, the 3rd of four children.
Jake homeschooled and received his high school diploma in Medina, going on to Ohio Technical College to complete a degree in diesel mechanics. He continued his education with additional certifications in welding from Lincoln Electric. His love and interest in mechanics began during high school, and he started working as a mechanic at 15 for Terrace Construction. After 10 years working at Terrace, Jake decided to pursue his life's dream of opening his own shop, Luzader Diesel Performance. At 22 Jake was fortunate to have met the love of his life, Jessie Trenta. His brother Dakota and Jessie started working with Jake in the shop, both working side by side with Jake in running the business. His hard work and dedication brought much love and loyalty from his customers, becoming known as one of the best diesel mechanics in the area. He lived and breathed diesel trucks of all kinds! He also enjoyed truck & tractor pulls, demolition derbies, motorcycling, snowboarding, music concerts, and hanging out with his many treasured friends. Jake accomplished his other most important dream of proposing to Jessie on June 15 with his family and best friends in attendance. Throughout Jake's life he was known for his extraordinary generosity, kindness, loyalty and hard work.
Jake was preceded in death by his Nana Judith Kennedy and Aunt Jennifer Santoro.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Rik & Anne; his siblings Zy, Dakota, and Caleb; the love of his life, best friend and fiancée, Jessie Trenta; grandfather Donald Kennedy; grandmother Stori Dennis; Jessie's parents Jim & Paula Trenta, whom Jake called his "second mom"; Jessie's brother Stephen Trenta (Sadie Faris); his Aunt Heather Gilham (Bo) and Uncle Steve Santoro, Uncles Nick (Tiffany), Scott, and Chris Luzader, Cousins Jordan Santoro, Dominic and Zane Luzader, Wyatt and Braisyn Luzader and his many amazing friends who supported and stayed with him throughout his cancer battle.
In lieu of flowers donations in Jake's memory may be made to his GoFundMe account which has covered many of Jakes expenses during his long battle with cancer. Going forward all donations will be used to cover expenses incurred by Jake and Jessie while Jessie cared for Jake full time during his illness.
A Celebration of life will be held in the near future, and family and friends will be notified directly. Online condolences may be left at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
