James Ardoin Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Randall “Randy” Ardoin, 69, of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, who peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Randy was a dedicated tugboat captain, known for his strong spirit and commitment to his work until his retirement. He enjoyed simple pleasures like watching old Western movies, gardening, and sharing laughter with loved ones.
He is survived by his stepson, Joe Devine; sons, Mike Ardoin, Shannon Ardoin, and Donny Ardoin; daughter, Lori Ardoin; siblings, Robert Ardoin, Al Ardoin, and Mona Lafleur and husband, Boo Lafleur; and his five grandchildren, Sadie Cariline, Justin Devin, Brad Carline, Taylor Devine, and Jade White.
Randy was preceded in death by his son, Jerome Ardoin, and his parents, Adley Ardoin and Winie Ardoin.
Randy will be remembered for his warm presence and kind heart.
