When I worked at Marshall's Drug Store during my high school years, Jimmy was a full time clerk. In addition to having a great sense of humor and a continuous positive attitude, we both shared a love of cars. I clearly recall getting a couple of rides in Jimmy's pride and joy, a 1964 Pontiac Tempest 326, black with red interior. A precursor to the GTO. Jimmy often offered advice and counsel to me the teenager, most of which had to do with sticking with education. Like him, I was fascinated with all things automotive, but I indeed took his advice. I think it is fair to say that while Jimmy may have left us, a part of him lives on in me. Fair winds and following seas, my friend.
