James Bliss Obituary
James was born to James A. and Rena Studer Bliss on October 2, 1954. He graduated from Otto Eldred High School in 1970. He worked as a machinist for many years in many states including Texas,Pennsylvania and Ohio. Jim and his wife Peggy also owned and operated Fox's Pizza Den of Smethport, PA for 10 years. Jim was passionate about preaching the gospel and being a personal witness of Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his father James Arthur Bliss.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Bliss of Rogersville, Tennessee. His children, Brian Bliss of Port Allegany, PA, Brandon (Michelle) Bliss of Port Allegany, PA, Bradley (Amanda) Bliss of Traverse City, Michigan. Dr. Courtney Carmichael-Swanner of Houston Texas, Crystal Carmichael-Kusy of Houston Texas and Randy Carmichael.
Sister, Cheryl L. (James) Scheffer of Apalachin, NY. Special Cousin Sharon (Todd) Bridge of Bradford, PA. Grandchildren, Tyler (Alison) Bliss Gallatin, Tennessee, Taylor Bliss of Port Allegany, PA , Tessa Mae Bliss of White House, Tennessee,Tristan Bliss of White House,Tennessee, Aiden Bliss of Port Allegany, PA and Cooper Bliss of Port Allegany, PA.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
