Kathy Regina Beck

Kathy Regina Johnson Beck passed away peacefully on the morning of, August 21st, in the year of our Lord 2025.

She was born in Rogersville, Tennessee, on April 24th, 1956, to mother Lorrain Bishop Johnson and father Beecher Johnson.

While she obtained her associate's degree in accounting from Knoxville Business College, her true passion lay as a school bus driver for Knox County Schools, a role in which she served for 28 faithful years.

As a devoted member of Persia Baptist Church, she continued serving the youth, even when she wasn't able.

When not at home caring for her devoted dog Ozzie or attending church, Kathy could usually be found at local yard sales, Hamrick's, Kohl's, Belk, or wherever she could find a bargain. She always enjoyed dirt races, beach trips, and mountain picnics.

She is preceded in death by siblings, Loretta "Tootsie" Bloomer, Beecher Johnson Jr., Priscilla Ann Lawson, Brenda Eidson, and Joan Johnson.

With all these cherished memories, she leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Dudley Alvin Beck; their children, Trevor Israel Beck and Regina Michelle Graham; grandchildren, Connor Reilly Gahagan and Charlie Rose Graham; her brother, Mack Ray Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 24th from 5-7pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will begin at 7pm with Pastor Jason Clevinger and Pastor Byron Chambers officiating. Burial will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, August 25th at Courtney Cemetery. If you plan on attending, please meet at the cemetery by 2:20pm.
