Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, 3:30 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of Cynthia Burchett, 4044 Greenbrier Drive, Apt C, Ayden, NC 28513, following the graveside service.
James was a lifelong resident of Pitt County. For several years, he had worked as a refrigeration mechanic for Hamill Refrigeration.
James is preceded in death by his brother, George Robert Clark.
Surviving are his two sisters, Betty Mills of Grimesland, and Carol Walston of Hopewell, VA; a brother, Michael Wayne Clark and wife, Pamela of Washington; his lifelong companion, Patricia Manning; a daughter, Angela Clark Mills and husband, Chris of Belvoir; a granddaughter, Madison Caroline Mills; two nieces, Teri Campbell and husband, Scott of Washington, and
Wanda McGaffin and husband, Bob of Raleigh; two nephews, Billy Walston and wife, Karen of Hopewell, VA, and Jody Clark of Washington; his beloved K-9 companions, Gypsy and Barney; and his beloved feline companion, Sally.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
