James L. Cochrane, 55, of Norwalk passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Born on September 19, 1969, in Altoona, PA, he was the son of Karen Fogliano and the late Charles F. Cochrane. He was pre-deceased by his grandfather, Charles Rhoades, of Tyrone, PA.

Jim enjoyed sports, the outdoors, walks on the beach, and spending quality time with his family.

Jim donated his time supporting the Bridgeport Rescue Mission as well as volunteering his services for a church mission in Haiti. Jim was employed by Stew Leonard's for 26 years, and an active member of Hope Church, Wilton, CT.

James is survived by his mother Karen Fogliano of Vero Beach, FL, his stepmother, Gail Cochrane of Norwalk, CT, his grandmother, Shirley Rhoades of Tyrone, PA, and family.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 AM. Internment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bridgeport Rescue Mission, 725 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604.
