Jimmy is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Kay Connelly, sisters Kathy (Massey dec) Sordini, Erin (John) Schmitt, Jennifer (Matt) Konen, Megan Mackfee.
Jimmy will be sorely missed by his niece Kyleah Konen (Rob Elwell fiancé) and nephews Matthew and Ryan Konen, Sean, Kevin and Brian Schmitt and Christopher Mackfee as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jimmy was a longtime employee of DHL Express Service in Robbinsville NJ. He was an avid golfer and bowler and all-around sports enthusiast. Even shooting a hole in one in 2019 (and never lettings us forget it.)
Jimmy was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School for Boys and Temple University and also volunteered much of his time coaching and organizing various local sports organizations for both children and adults.
Jimmy's greatest joy was spending time with family and being an uncle to his niece and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jimmy's Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3252 Chesterfield Road, Philadelphia, PA 19114, where his family will receive friends from 10-11 AM, in the Church prior to Mass. Internment private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Jimmy's memory to Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, Convent of Divine Love (The Pink Chapel) 2212 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA 19130. www.adorationsisters.org
