James Henry Connors, III., 73 of Pittsfield, passed away August 17, 2025 at home. Born in Pittsfield on February 21, 1952, he was the son of the late James H. Connors Jr., and Rita Kushi Connors.
Mr. Connors attended Taconic High School. He worked for Rabouin's and was self employed.
Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman who loved all hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. He was a Boston Red Sox fan and loved watching Sunday football. He enjoyed many hours in his local shed with friends. Most of all, he cherished his family.
Mr. Connors is survived by his daughters, Lindsey Connors, Cortney Provenzano, Gabrielle Connors all of Pittsfield. His wife, Linda Colvin Connors of Pittsfield; his beloved grandchildren, Connor Lawler, Lyiah Hubbard, Reagan Lawler, Aaden Hubbard, Miracle Tabon and Gemma Tabon. His sisters, Deborah Paterson of Pittsfield, Rosemary Altobelli and husband David of Cape Coral, FL, and Colleen Munson of Adams. As well as his son in-law, Rick Lawler and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Connors, and his parents, Rita and James Connors, Jr.
Funeral Notice: Calling hours will be held, Friday, August 29, 2025 at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. Graveside services will be held, Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery in the Pinegrove section on Onota Street.
