LAKE PROVIDENCE, LA - A Celebration of the Life of James Harold Crews, age 87 of Lake Providence, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 210 North Hood Street in Lake Providence, Louisiana. A time of visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM just prior to the service.
Mr. Crews passed into eternal life on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Union General Hospital in Farmerville, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Harley Crews and Pearlie Mae (McKinney) Crews and four siblings.
James Harold is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Marta-Karin Crews of Monument, Colorado; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Chanda Crews of Lafayette, Louisiana; 5 grandchildren: Morgan Crowell (Evan) of Farmerville, Louisiana; Sara Crews of Chesterfield, Missouri; Macee Fife (Heath) of Lafayette, Louisiana; Allee Clark of Youngsville, Louisiana; and Courtnee Soon (Joshua) of Melbourne, Australia; and 8 great grandchildren: Bradley Crowell, Chloe Crowell, Thomas Crowell, Addee Ruth Crews, Maverick Crews, Knoxlee Fife, Crews Clark, and Thaddeus Clark.
