James Thomas "Squrl" Crider, age 41 of Holmes County, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio.

James was born December 12, 1982 in Wooster, Ohio and was the son of Jim Crider and Carmelia (Miller) Hageman. He was a graduate of West Holmes High School. James worked at Robin industry. He enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, coloring, and working on cars. James can best be described by the following quote: "There he goes, one of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. To weird to live and to rare to die".
He is survived by three children: Caleb Crider, Ashlee Crider and Connor Crider; a granddaughter on the way, Carmen Jade Crider; his father, Jim Crider (Mary Reed) of Killbuck; his mother, Carmelia (Kevin) Hageman of Wooster; siblings: Jesse Crider, Nick Crider, Sam Crider and Lindsey Crider; numerous nieces and nephews; his maternal grandmother, Ruthie Miller; and best friends: Jeremy Heflin, Victor Austin, and Larry Whitman.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
