James Bernard Daniels

James B. Daniels, passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on August 12, 1956, James's life was woven with the threads of humor, interest, and generosity that defined his character.

James was the son of the late Bernard and Helene Daniels, and shared an unbreakable bond with his sisters, Kathleen Beard, Barbara Tyler, and the late Peggy. He was a beacon of laughter and love within his family, a role he embraced wholeheartedly until his last days. The family circle was expanded and enriched by his sons, Jesse and Tyler Daniels. James's legacy continued to blossom with the arrival of his seven grandchildren, Rhett, Raelynn, Skyler, Emma, Ellie, Peighton, and Ryleigh, each of whom he was proud of with every fiber of his being.

An avid outdoorsman, James found solace and excitement in the beauty of nature. He was often seen boating through the serene waters, his face alight with the joy of the moment. Winters were spent snowmobiling through the whispering pines of Michigan, a pastime that brought him immense happiness. Yet, it was the simple pleasure of gathering around a bonfire with family and friends that truly captured the essence of James's love for companionship and storytelling.

James's humor was as boundless as the open sky, his anecdotes a source of unending entertainment for those lucky enough to be in his presence. His interests were as varied as they were fascinating, making every conversation with him a journey through a myriad of topics and ideas. Above all, James's generosity knew no bounds; he gave freely of himself and his resources, always seeking to uplift those around him.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at later date. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville.
