James Davis, Sr. Obituary
Memorial Services for James Michael Davis, Sr., 78, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday.
James was born August 14, 1945, in Monroe, LA, to Wesley and Octavia Davis and passed away March 5, 2024, in West Monroe, LA.
James thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed playing the occasional game of Dominos. To know James was to love him and he will be dearly missed by all who did.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca, and his sister, Kathy Alger.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, James M. Davis, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, and Wesley Davis; his grandchildren, Michael Gage Davis, Dylan Davis, and Kayley Davis; his great granddaughter, Emory Duchense; his brothers, Paul Davis, Sr. and his wife, Suellen Davis and Glen Davis; his sister, Sharon Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
