James Ray Edwards, 56, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away February 1, 2024, in Birmingham, AL.
He was born May 30, 1967, in Shelby County, Alabama, son of the late Horace Edwards and the late Ann Edwards.
He worked for the State of Alabama Transportation Department.
Surviving are his Wife, Felicia Edwards; Daughters, Ashley (Kevin) Calfee, Kayla McGee; Brother, George (Kim) Edwards; Granddaughters, Madison Calfee, Charleigh Calfee; Sister-in-law, Glenda Rhodes; Nephew, Brady (Lexey) Edwards; Niece, Brooklyn Edwards; Nephew, Ryan (Hannah) Rhodes; Nephew, Russ Rhodes; Mother-in-law, Pat Barefield; Host of cousins and other close relatives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Horace Ray & Ann Eloise Edwards.
Friends to be received Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Clanton First Baptist Christian Life Center.
Memorial services to be held Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Clanton First Baptist Christian Life Center. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Traywick.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Chilton County Humane Society.
