Jim enjoyed camping, being outdoors and he loved animals.
He is survived by his siblings; Ronald (Cheryl) Evans and Sheree Evans-Cameron, three nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 1:00pm in the Jowett Funeral Home – 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron. Minister Shaun Laurain will officiate. The visiting hours will be from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm.
Memorial tributes can be made to your choice of an Aids Foundation.
Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Evans family.

Oh, Jamie...I meant that you were with your mom (MY Aunt Ruby) and Grandma now. It was like 2am typing. Told ya I make typos all day. Hey! You'll always be the cheeziest!

James, I cannot believe you are gone! My heart is broken and sorrowful. You are at peace now. I am sure you are with your Aunt Ruby and Grandma. I will miss your laugh and and our crazy conversations. I am blessed to have had you in my life. I wished you had lived closer, maybe you would still be with us. I love you. Your New York family will keep loving you. Rest in Peace my sweet cousin.
