James Evans Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11 AM in Covenant Church, Winterville.
Jimmy was a native and life-long resident of Pitt County, where he lived in the Greenville area. He was a graduate of J.H. Rose High School. Jimmy was a very active member of Covenant Church for 20 years; and owned James A. Evans Construction. He was a Navy veteran, having served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a loving son, husband, brother, father, and grandfather.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Josie Evans; and first wife, Bonnie Little Evans.
He is survived by his Loving wife of 18 years, Kim Evans; Daughter, Cristan Evans Martin and husband, Seth; Step-children, Ryan Joseph Mills and wife, Amber, Brittany Mills, and Taylor Mills; Grandchildren, Ashlyn Mills, Khloe Mills, Blaine Mills, and
Oliver Mills; Sister, Shirley Evans Denton; Brother, Eddie Evans; and A number of nieces and nephews.
