James "Jim" Joseph Fox, age 76, a resident of Bangs, Texas and formerly of Fort Morgan, Colorado passed away at home August 19, 2025. His care is under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.

Jim was born December 18, 1948 in Santa Rosa, California to James and Jean Fox. He grew up in California and graduated from Chico High School in 1967. Jim then moved to Colorado and went to work for Rual Electric Association in Fort Collins, Colorado as an electrical lineman. At the age of 43 Jim went back to college and earned an Associate Degree in Occupational Safety from Red Rocks Community College in Colorado. His keen eye for detail and strong work ethic were valuable skills utilized in his position as a Safety Manager for Ludvik Electric when he started there in 1995. He was very proud of the work he did with Ludvik electric on projects like building Denver International airport and a facility for Homeland Security. Jim worked until July 2025, when at the age of 76 he retired.

Jim married his precious wife Jennifer Fox in Golden, Colorado in 1993. Their love for each other was beautiful. They were true partners in life.

Jim enjoyed working on old cars. His current projects were a triumph and a 1965 GTO. watching the good ole westerns with his grandchildren Jase and Zach that live very close. He also loved all of his dogs through the years.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Susan Fox (Brent); son, James Daniel Fox-Adamsson: step-daughters, Jessica Burley, Jill Jamison (Kevin) and Joline Browne (Fred); 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his twin brother Gene and his beloved wife Jennifer.
