James Franks Obituary
Jim attended high school and college in Indiana and worked in a foundry for most of his career. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He belonged to the Amvets and the CNS Club, both on West Market Street, and loved to spend time at Mosquito Lake, with or without a fishing pole.
Precious memories of Jim live on with his beloved wife of nearly thirty-four years, Sharon (Summers) Franks, whom he married April 12, 1992; four daughters: Tammy Franks of Indiana, and Meranda, Jamie, and Lisa Franks, all of Warren; one son, Thomas Franks of Indiana; one stepdaughter, Iva Basinger of Warren; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and other friends and family who love him dearly and think of him fondly.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his son, T.J. Franks; his stepdaughter, Wendy Basinger; and two brothers, Toni and Allan Franks.
Services will be held at a later date. To honor Jim's good life, do a good deed for someone, and remember Jim and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
