Mr. Gilder was my theater directer while at Cloverleaf High school. I also did the morning announcement which he looked over. I always felt very appreciated and talented when speaking to him. You could tell he really cared about the arts and wanting us to do our very best. My favorite thing he did was take us to the barn restaurant for our thespian awards ceremony. Such a niche tradition. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

Jim was so full of life, helpful and positive. It was a pleasure to teach with him at Cloverleaf High School for 14 years. He contributed so much to the students and community. He will certainly be missed here on earth. My prayers and sympathy go out to his wife and entire family.

Jim was my musical coach. He directed Damn Yankees when I had the Male lead.My mother had. a surprise 18th birthday party after the play and Jim and Betsy have me my 1st Blue oyster cult album spectres and a hulk graphic novel, both of which I still have. I know they were both able to attend the last Who concert at blossom and have always thought highly of them. Thoughts to Betsy..she was always special to me.
