James Robert Hillier

Jim Hillier, 69, of South Lyon, Michigan, passed away on September 24, 2023. Born on July 27, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, Jim was a loving brother, husband, and father. He was a mentor to many throughout the years and had a remarkable ability to fill the room with laughter and life.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Patti Hillier, and their children, Brian Hillier, Dayna Hillier, and Chelsea Hillier. He was also cherished by his siblings, Steve Hillier (Mary), Pat Vineis (Bruce), Carol Machak (Rod), Rob Hillier, Chris Hillier, and Jill Hillier, as well as his many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dolores Hillier.
Jim had a deep passion for music, and playing the guitar was one of his favorite pastimes. His love for music brought joy to his life and touched the hearts of those around him.

Jim will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His kindness, humor, and zest for life will forever be remembered and cherished.
