Lorraine Norma Behrens Born August 7th, 1933 Died November 29th, 2025
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Lorraine Behrens, of Ann Arbor Michigan. Lorraine was 92 years young, and though our hearts are heavy with the loss of her, they are filled with gratitude for having someone so full of love for life, in in our midst, for all of these years. She was a fun and loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, great aunt, and friend. Lorraine loved her dogs, vacations, swimming, games, babies, toddlers, eating out, gardening, having an aquarium, re-sale shops, holidays, movies. Most of all she loved her family. She cherished her parents, Leah and Orman and her siblings, Betty, Billy, Joyce, and Lonna, and she wanted to be with them as much as possible. Lorraine was a mother and father to her son Cliff, and still had room in her heart to care for foster children for some years. As the extended family grew, she loved nephews, nieces, the spouses that followed, and then the great nephews and nieces that came along also. She was filled with enthusiasm for the growing family and her joy never ran out. Lorraine took pleasure in thinking about the wonders of our God, and had many questions for Him someday. She knew her Savior Jesus, and had a simple child-like faith. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Orman
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents Orman and Leah Ellis, her sister Betty Gilbert, her brother Billy Ellis, her sister Joyce Coon and their respective spouses, Orvill Gilbert, Pauline Ellis and Ray Coon. She is survived by her son Clifford Behrens, her sister Lonna Byrd and numerous nieces, nephews, their respective spouses, and great nieces and nephews and friends. A time for her memorial service and a celebration of her life will be at a later date. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Lorraine, please visit our floral store.
