James "Jimmy" Edwin Lukac, 70, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Franciscan Health-Michigan City.
Jimmy was born on October 3, 1953, in La Porte, IN, to Steve and Louise (Okeley) Lukac.
Surviving Jimmy are his 4 brothers, Jerry (Tawnya) Lukac Sr. of La Porte, Steve Lukac Jr. of Bensenville, IL, Billy (Peggy) Lukac of La Porte, and Tom "Byrd" (Susan) Lukac of La Porte; nephews, Matt Lukac, Joey Lukac, Kyle Lukac, Jerry Lukac Jr., Tyler Lukac, and Josiah Worthington; nieces, Kristi McCormick, Roberta Mumaw, Shelly Dunfee, Heather Baughman, Tabatha Moore, and Alicia Lukac; as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Bobby and Raymond Lukac.
Jimmy worked many years as a Materials Handler at Alexander Chemical. He was a huge Cubs and Packers fan. Jimmy also enjoyed NASCAR, softball, and Leonard Skynard. He was a BBQ master on the grill. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
