He is survived by brother, Robert P. Markes and Sally Hunold. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his brother, Carl J. Markes; and sister, Diane M. Gonyea.
There will be a funeral service at Brew Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Massena, NY.
