In our Heavenly kingdom and in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is to be found a beloved Father, Son, Brother, Husband, Uncle, and Friend.

James Odel Marsh, 49, of Odessa, surrounded by his loving family, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025.

James was born Monday, March 15, 1976, in Tagu, South Korea to Chilsun Kim and James Marsh. James was a dedicated family man with a heart of gold. His kindness was shown to everyone, James was a people person, he would take the shirt off of his back for a friend in need. James was a diehard Cowboys fan, win or lose, his loyalty to his team was a perfect example of his loyalty to his people. James met the love of his life, his Wife Crystal Galindo, in February of 2015 with whom he loved with all of his heart.

James is survived by his Wife, Crystal Galindo; his son Noah (Eva) Marsh; his mother Chilsun Marsh; his brother Ben Marsh; his sister Crystal (Toby) Laijas; many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly; his mother-in-law Angelica; his sister-in-laws Cathy (Edward) and Daija (Abraham); his brother-in-law Chris; as well as his soon to be grandson Aaron Marsh.

James is preceded in death by his father James Marsh; as well as his sister Kimberly Marsh.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 15, from 1pm to 9pm in the 24-hour chapel.

A service will be held at 3pm in the 24-hour chapel on Saturday August 16.
