James Herbert McCoy, Jr, 79, of Cassatt, SC, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
He was born in Lumberton, NC on October 15, 1943, to the late Palace and James McCoy, Sr.
James proudly served in the Army before starting his career with the telephone company. He loved riding his motorcycle and was a long-time member of the Soldiers United Motorcycle Club of Columbia, South Carolina.
Left to cherish James’s memory is his son, Vernard McCoy; grandchildren, Haile McCoy, Mia McCoy, Jeovannie Mendez; and sister, Jean.
James’s funeral service will be held on Monday, February 6th at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00am with military honors.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
