James Marcus McGee Sr. accepted Christ at an early age tad he was a devoted member of Sycamore Chapel Church in Pewee Valley. James was a dedicated member of the choir until his health declined,


James was born December 24, 1954, to the late Lawrence McGee Sr. and the late Bessie Flournoy McGee. He was born a twin, out of 8 children.


He attended Oldham County High School where he was very active in sports.
He learned the art of Brick Masonary from his Father Lawrence McGee Sr. guidance and his oldest brother Lawrence McGee Jr.

On March 14th, 2026, James crossed over to eternity to be with Jesus!


James leaves to cherish (2) son's Ja'mon McGee Sr, James MeGee Jr. (I) son who proceeding him in death Marcus McGee. (2) Daughter's Teresa McGee, Parisha McGee. (5) Grandchildren's Marcus Jr, Ja,mon Jr, Zaden, Coden, James McGee. (1) God Daughter Mary Shepherd.James was survived by (1) Sister Loraine Watson (2) Sisters that preceded him in death Mary Ann, Mildred. (4) Brothers preceded him in death Lawrence Jr. John, Larry, Rickey, A host of nieces and nephews, cousins' other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, March 21st at 11AM, at Sycamore Chapel United Methodist 7500 Fraziertown Rd, Pewee Valley, KY 40056
