James J Molinero, 83, of Varna Illinois died on January 20, 2024 at ARC Healthcare of Streator. James was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late James and Josephine (Senese) Molinero; he married Deborah Vaice on May 15, 1993 in Wilmington, Illinois.
James is also survived by his daughter, Dawn and her husband Robert Wilkins of Jay, Florida; son, Anthony and his wife Audrey Molinero, of Seattle, Washington; sister, Judith Jones of Portage, Indiana; granddaughter, Desire’ Walea of Seattle, Washington and great grandchildren Adam, Arianna and Andrew. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Molinero.
James was a truck driver for 45 years driving 20 years for Conway Central Express Trucking. When he retired, Debbie and Jim moved to Lake Wildwood in 2006 to enjoy the quiet life. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lacon, the Italian American Society in Peoria, and worked as an election judge in Marshall County for many years.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Rescue for PTSD @ rescueforptsd.org Online condolences can be left at lenzmemorialhome.com.
