James Todd Murphy

Services for Mr. James "Todd" Murphy will be held Saturday, December 13th from 9:00AM – 11:00AM at Griffin Funeral Home located at 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe, LA 71291 with Pastor John L. Dent Officiating. Todd was born on May 30, 1962, and passed from this life on November 29, 2025, at the age of 63.
Todd was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. A carpenter by trade, he took great pride in his work. As a believer and follower of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he touched the hearts of many throughout his lifetime. He will be missed by many including those who learned from him, those who enjoyed his humor, and those who knew his character. Todd's opinionated personality, ill temperament, and stubbornness was never in short supply, but they were no match for his kindness, generosity, and forgiveness.
Todd is preceded in death by Father James Herbert Murphy and Mother Dorthy Elaine Scott.
Todd is survived by his three Sons Jason Chad Murphy and wife Heather, Dexter Kyle Murphy and wife Satin, and Todd Kolton Murphy and wife Brittany. Along with six grandchildren, Kate Bennett Murphy, Karly Beth Murphy, Luke Wyatt Murphy, Savannah Grace Murphy, Gracie Lynn Weiskopf, and Kolton Wayne Murphy. Sister Adrena Michelle Frost Morales and Husband Manny, Step-Father Buddy Frost and wife Lisa. Also survived by a host of step siblings, family, and friends.
