James C. Murzynski

James C. Murzynski, age 60, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 after an extended illness. He was born in Erie on January 8, 1962, son of the late Charles J. and Leoma Wheeler Murzynski.

Jim was a member of Huzars Club, Polish Sharpshooters, Foresters Beneficial Association as well as other clubs. As anyone who has known him will attest, Jim lived his life on his own terms. He was always quick to lend a hand to those in need, even if they were strangers. He was generous with his time and resources with family and friends. Jim will be sorely missed and loved by all (most) that knew him. He will always be the undisputed "Trivia King". Thank you, Jim. RIP.

Jim is survived by the love of his life and childhood sweetheart, Cynthia K. Edinger; and brother, Anthony M. Murzynski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Destiny Rose; one brother, Charles J. Murzynski; three sisters, Deborah McKinley, Janice Murzynski and Lisa M. Murzynski-Buck; and his beloved dog, Echo.

Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Tuesday from noon until the time of the Memorial Service there at 1 pm, conducted by Rev. James McCormick. A private interment will be held at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery
