Jimmy was born on September 7, 1947 to the late William and Mary Alice Patmore in Henderson KY. He was a cherished husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, papaw, son-in-law, and father-in-law. He brought so much laughter and joy to everyone he met.
In addition, he also was a wonderful painter, belonging to the Local 156 Painters Union in Evansville, IN for over 30 years. For an additional 12 years, he owned his own business, Patmore Painting, operating in Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Pat Patmore, 1 daughter Angel Lightner (Gar) of Washington D.C. 2 sons James David Patmore and Alex Patmore (Kelsey) of Slaughters KY. 3 sisters Janet Ashby (Phillip) of Smith Mills KY, Dottie Horton of Evansville IN, GiGi Sauer of Henderson KY, 1 twin brother Charles Patmore (Jean) of Henderson KY. 6 grandchildren Shelbie Griffin, Chance Patmore, Jessica Campbell, Madalynn Patmore, Cooper Lightner, and Amelia Lightner, 2 great grandchildren Taelynn and Kaelyx Griffin
A Graveside Service will be Sunday October 9, 2022 at Zion Brick Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Brother Dewayne Peercy officiating. Friends may arrive after 1:30 PM.
