James Posthumus Obituary
James is survived by his beloved wife Kathy (nee Payne) Posthumus; mother Elaine Martino; siblings, John (Susan) Posthumus, Kathy (Nick) Laphen; grandchildren Aryssa and Autumn; daughter-in-law Ashley Posthumus; mother-in-law, Sally Kutchinski; sister-in-laws, Brenda Payne, and Dawn (Dan) Wheatley; and brother-in-law Wally (Michelle) Klein; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son, Joshua Posthumus; sister-in-law Judy Doornbos; and his father John Posthumus; father-in-laws John Kutchinski and William Klein.
James enjoyed spending his free time outdoors. Some of his favorite activities were, jet skiing, riding ATV's, going on snowmobiling trips, and fishing. He was passionate about his motorsports, and he was child at heart. James was a great friend to so many and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Services for James will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road in New Lenox, with a visitation from 3pm until the time of service at 6:30pm.
