James Rodewald Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
He was born in Rockwell City, IA, on May 16, 1944, to Lewis and Velma (Stringer) Rodewald. He married Denise K. Mason on May 2, 1966. She preceded him in death on October 4, 2025.
Also preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Scheryl Grell.
Surviving are his son, James T. Rodewald, and grandchildren: Brandon Rodewald, David Rodewald, Matthew Rodewald, and Shannon Poole.
James graduated from the DeVry Technical Institute and continued on to pursue a lifelong career in the live entertainment industry as a technical director.
A graveside service for James will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Pastor Miller officiating.
