Jimmy Roggenbuck, age 56, joined his Heavenly Father on August 4, 2025. He was born August 27, 1968 in Arlington TX. Jimmy grew up in Hurst, Texas attending St John's Catholic School of North Richland Hills, Bedford Junior High, and graduated from LD Bell High School in May 1986.
Jimmy was the youngest of six and a joy and blessing to his older brother and sisters. Jimmy was always very active from an early age. He enjoyed outdoor sports, riding bikes, playing in the creek, and building forts with his sister, Jolene. Jimmy was an avid soccer player. He began playing soccer at the age of 9 and played select soccer both indoor and outdoor through college.
Jimmy graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth TX with his bachelor's degree and continued on to Parker Chiropractic College to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He moved to Lawton Oklahoma in 1998 to begin his chiropractic practice at Aragon Chiropractic Clinic. He retired from his chiropractic practice in 2013.
Jimmy loved helping others. If he knew of a need, he was quick to help. He also loved anything related to construction; he could fix anything. Jimmy found the Great Plains Ambucs as a great way to utilize his talents and help others. Jimmy joined the Great Plains Ambucs in 1999. Through Ambucs, he was able to serve his community and make lifelong friendships. Jimmy was very honored to receive the National Award 2021-2022 for Ambuc of the Year.
In August 2015, Jimmy married Kristal Miller and became dad to Zachary and Eli Miller. Jimmy was a wonderful husband and an amazing partner. Jimmy was a great dad to Eli and Zachary. Jimmy fell into the dad role easily providing all the "dad jokes" and embarrassment the boys could handle. He was always up to help them with gaming or whatever they needed. Jimmy was a constant source of entertainment and made the most mundane tasks fun for Zachary & Eli. Kristal, lovingly referred to them, as her three boys because Jimmy was really just a big kid who loved to have fun.
Jimmy loved to collect. He was always finding a new "investment" to bring home from gas pumps to unusual signs. He had an impressive Dr. Pepper collection.
Jimmy had a big personality. He made friends easily and maintained those friendships. Jimmy had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh and be the life of the party. He impacted many lives and will be missed by so many.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Kristal, and his son, Eli Miller; his sister Jeanne Guedrey, his sister, Janet Northrup and husband Bobby; his brother Johnny Roggenbuck; his sister Joanne Chase and her husband, Marc; his sister Jolene Langhorne and her husband Kelly; and uncle David Ritchie and his wife Ann; and his aunt Catherine Ritchie and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Joe and Kathy Roggenbuck, and his son, Zachary Miller.
