Auburn---James S. Ross, 44, passed away at his residence on Sunday, January 4, 2026, following a long battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Manchester, NH on November 16, 1981, son of John and Louise (Brien) Ross. James grew up in Haverhill, MA. He was a fierce fan of all things Boston. He and Myra met at Saint Joseph's College where he studied International Business. He then went on to get his Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of Maine. He was a brilliant mind with a photographic memory. He worked in many different roles in the banking industry. He was an avid golfer and was always happiest out on the course. He loved taking his girls camping, skiing, and on many adventures. He was an amazing father and embraced being a girl dad.

He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Myra (Cyr) Ross of Auburn; two loving daughters, Reagan and Jackie also of Auburn; his mother, Louise (Brien) Ross of Portland; one brother, Scott H. Ross and his wife Robin of Deerfield, NH; his nephew Jamie Ross and nieces Brittni (Ross) Duprey and Kirstin (Ross) Radziewicz; his parents-in-law, Roland and Nancy Cyr of Van Buren; one brother-in-law, Randy Cyr of Saint David. James was predeceased by his father, John E. Ross.
