Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Robert Schaller will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the church. Burial rites will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
James was born on February 18, 1928 in Biron, WI to the late John Edward and Alice Jane (Gaffney) Siegler. He married Shirley B. Jossie on June 20, 1953 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. James worked for Consolidated Paper for 43 years, retiring in March of 1990. James was always so proud of his children, grandchildren and their families.
James is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, James (Mary) Siegler, John (Suzan) Siegler, Jeff (Char) Siegler; daughters, Gloria (John) Dupree, Janet Thomas (Bill Falck), Judy (Sam) Schmirler, Joan (Paul) Richmond; brothers, Thomas (June) Siegler, and William Siegler; sisters, Margaret Nash, Sally (Marvin) Mancl, and Susan Berry; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
James is preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Siegler; grandson, Colton Siegler; brothers, John (Maxine) Siegler, and Robert (Gertrude "Jean") Siegler; sister, Mary Jane (Phillip) Moody; son-in-law, Robert Thomas; brothers-in-law Lawrence Nash, and Leland Berry.

We are truly saddened to hear of the loss of your Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
Our visits all together with him were always so incredibly fun.
We would have to say the gas pump would be our great memory of Kraut.
Our prayers to the family, may your grieving soon turn into the grand memories of your wonderful Kraut!
