James D Sullivan - age 65, died Christmas morning at home after an epic and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born at St Elizabeth Hospital in Boston, the son of the late Leonard Sullivan Sr. and the late Barbara A. (Klemm) Sullivan.
He grew up in Billerica and graduated from Billerica Memorial High School as part of the Class of 1977. Following high school, he attended UMASS Amherst before heading west to Washington State, where he studied at Wenatchee Valley College and earned an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts and Ski Instruction.
After returning to the East Coast, he settled near Jay Peak Mountain in Vermont where he pursued his passion for skiing and teaching, especially to children. Alongside his love for the outdoors, James worked as a technician at various biotech firms.
In later years, James returned to Billerica, where his presence over the last two decades played a vital role in enabling his father to live independently and thrive well into his 90s. During this time, Jim discovered his love for acting, working as a background actor and proudly becoming a member of the SAG-AFTRA union.
